Hot Dog SURPRISE

Ingredients:


1 pound hotdogs

2 medium onions -- chopped

2 tablespoons margarine or oil

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

2 teaspoons chopped basil

1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic

15 ounces chopped tomatoes -- drained OR

2 medium tomatoes -- chopped

2 cans condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 pound elbow macaroni -- cooked and drained
 

Preparation / Directions:


Slice the hotdogs diagonally in 1/4" slices, saute with onions til slightly browned in margarine. Add basil, garlic and parsley, cook 2 more minutes. Add tomatoes and soup. Cook til bubbly, add drained macaroni and serve. Sandy in Maine My children named this themselves after I created it...I had 7 kids who loved hot dogs.....so I had to come up with lots of ideas on how to serve them or the DH and I would have gone crazy!
