North Carolina BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:


1 cup apple cider vinegar

2 teaspoons red pepper

3/4 cup water

1 dash sugar

2/3 cup onions minced

1 whole bay leaf

1 clove garlic crushed

2/3 teaspoon thyme

1/2 teaspoon salt

3 tablespoons peanut oil

1 teaspoon black pepper
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a rapid boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and store your bottle in the frig. You can play around with the ingredients but the vinegar and red pepper are the main jewels.
