Spiced Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients:


2 pounds boneless pork roast, trimmed and -- cut in 2 inch pieces

29 ounces whole tomatoes, drained and -- chopped

1 large onion -- chopped

1/3 cup raisins

2 tablespoons tomato paste

2 tablespoons cider vinegar

1 tablespoon chopped pickled jalapeno peppers

1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules

1/4 teaspoon salt -- or to taste

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
 

Preparation / Directions:


This recipe is for 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. Place pork in a slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 5 hours or on LOW 8 to 10 hours. Remove pork from cooker using a slotted spoon, cool slightly, and shred using two forks. Return meat to the slow cooker and cook until thoroughly heated. Serve over hamburger buns.
