Rita's Pita Burger - Food In A Flash

Ingredients:


1 tablespoon garlic salt to taste

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1/3 cup seeded -- chopped cucumber

1 small onion diced

1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

4 medium tomato thick slices

1 bunch sprouts -- (alfalfa or bean)

4 pieces pitas
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a large bowl, sprinkle garlic salt over ground beef. Mix and shape into patties. Grill for a few minutes on each side until done. In a medium bowl, combine yogurt, cucumber, onion, blue cheese and pepper. Slit one side of each pita to open pocket and tuck in one burger, sprouts, a tomato slice and top with cucumber sauce.
