Salsa Verde (King)

Ingredients:


8 medium tomatillos chopped -- husks removed

2 tablespoons flour

7 ounces can of green chiles -- (2-3 fresh)

2 medium onions chopped

1 clove garlic -- minced, up to 2

1 medium jalapenos -- depending on your heat threshold, up to 2

1 3/4 cups veggie broth
 

Preparation / Directions:


Sauté‚ tomatillos, onion and garlic until onion translucent. Add flour and stir to coat. Add broth and stir until combined (lumps of flour disappear). Add green chiles and simmer for 30 minutes. You can add jalapenos at the end or with the chiles.
