Waldorf Salad 2

Ingredients:


2 large eating apples

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 cup diced celery

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon powdered sugar

1/4 cup sour cream

1/3 cup coarsely broken walnuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Core apples. Pare, if desired, or leave red-skinned apples unpeeled. Dice them and sprinkle with lemon juice. Combine apples with celery and salt. Blend together mayonnaise, sugar, and sour cream. Pour over apple mixture, tossing lightly with a fork until apple pieces are well coated. Arrange salad in lettuce cups. Sprinkle with walnuts.
