Hearty Wurst 'n Beer Salad - Lipton Kitchens

Ingredients:


3/4 cup wish-bone italian dressing

3/4 cup beer

1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 pound knockwurst or frankfurters -- cooked and sliced diagonally

4 cups thinly sliced cooked potatoes

1 medium red onion -- cut into rings

2 quarts mixed salad greens
 

Preparation / Directions:


In large shallow baking dish, blend Italian dressing, beer, caraway seeds and brown sugar; add knockwurst, potatoes, and onion. Cover and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, at least 3 hours. To serve, arrange marinated mixture on salad greens; toss with marinade. Garnish, if desired, with cherry tomatoes. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
