Hearty Beef Salad Trenchers

Ingredients:


---salad

1/2 pound thinly sliced deli roast beef

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper

1/2 cup chopped tomato

---horseradish sauce

1 package cream cheese -- (3 oz), softened

3 tablespoons milk or cream

2 tablespoons cream-style horseradish

1/2 teaspoon sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper

---trenchers

1 bunch leaf lettuce or curly endive

4 medium flaky crescent trenchers
 

Preparation / Directions:


Tear beef into bite-sized pieces. In medium bowl, combine all salad ingredients; toss gently, In small bow, combine all sauce ingredients; blend well. Arrange lettuce over each trencher. Spoon salad evenly over lettuce; top with sauce. Serve immediately -----
