Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:


1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon dry mustard

1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel

2 teaspoons minced sweet onion

1/2 cup fresh lemon or lime juice

3/4 cup oil

1 tablespoon poppy seeds
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix all ingredients except poppy seeds in a blender container. Stir in se eds. Variation; Can use lemon or lime juice for vinegar in a regular vinaigret te and sugar in place of salt. Add about 1 T. smashed anise seed per cup of dressing.
