Meatballs Creole On Rice

Ingredients:


1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup regular oats -- uncooked

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3/4 cup water

1/2 cup tomato sauce

1/2 cup chile sauce

2 small onions -- chopped

3 Cup Hot cooked rice for-4
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine first 5 ingredients, mixing well. Shape mixture into 1 1/4 inch meatballs; dredge in flour. Brown in oil over medium heat in a large skillet; drain off drippings. Combine remaining ingredients except rice; mix well, and pour over meatballs. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice.
