Bread Pudding Ala Brenda

Ingredients:


5 large eggs -- beaten well

5 cups whole milk

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

1 cup raisins

3/4 cup sugar

6 slices Potato Bread -- (french bread works great too)

1 teaspoon Cinnamon and Sugar mixture
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a 2 1/2 quart pyrex or glass dish, combine eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Mix well until sugar is desolved. Cube bread slices into 2 inch cubes, and add to mixture along with raisins. Sprinkle top with cinnamon/sugar mixture. Put about 1 ince of hot water in a large pan, and set the glass dish containing bread pudding inside the pan of water. (This make the custard without burning the rest. :) Bake in 375 to 400 degree oven for 1 hr 20 minutes.
