Burbon Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients:


4 pounds sweet potatoes -- (4 to 6) (or canned may be used)

1/4 cup burbon -- (1/4 to 1/2)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

1/3 cup orange juice

1/3 cup chopped pecans

1 cup miniature marshmallows
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Cook potatoes in salted water until tender, drain, cool slightly and peel. (or open up the can) 2. Mash the potatoes, add remaining ingredients except for nuts and marshmallows and beat till smooth. 3. Stir in nuts and spoon into a large buttered casserole dish. 4. Bake 350° for about 40 mins then top with marshmallows and bake until golden brown.
