Mom's Quick and Tasty Roast

Ingredients:


1 large roast cut of meat - such as rump -- up to 4 lbs.

6 cloves garlic

2 medium green bell pepper -- sliced

1 jar giardineria italian marinated vegetables

1 cup red cooking wine
 

Preparation / Directions:


Insert roast into crock pot. Wedge green pepper slices around roast. Pour jar of Giardineria and red wine over roast. Insert peeled garlic cloves into roast top. Cover and crock on low for 10 hours.
