Ham Fettucini

Ingredients:


1 packages fresh fettucini -- (8 oz)

1/2 pound ham sliced thin (Original recipe use Canadian bacon instead)

2 tablespoons butter

1 Clove garlic -- minced

2 large egg yolks -- beaten

3 medium green onions -- chopped

1/4 pound fresh mushrooms -- sliced

1/2 medium green pepper -- sliced thin

8 ounces whipping cream

1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper spice

1 Cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon salt -- to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Cook fettucini, Fry bacon in butter. Remove from heat and keep warm. Fry garlic for 30 seconds, add remaining vegetables and saute until tender crisp. Remove from heat and keep warm. Add cream to pan and blend in egg yolks. Cook over low heat stirring until sauce starts to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in seasoning. Toss vegetables, cream and fettucini together with sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.
