Barbecued Spareribs California Style

Ingredients:


5 pounds spareribs -- cut 2-rib pieces

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1 1/2 tablespoons worcestershire

1 tablespoon dark brown sugar

1/2 cup ketchup

2 cloves garlic -- mince

1 dash hot pepper sauce -- or

1 dash liquid smoke flavoring
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 400~. Arrange ribs on rack in baking pan. Brown in oven for 15 minutes on each side. Drain and put in slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-10 hours or on HIGH 3-1/2-4 hours.
