Lemon, Pepper, And Thyme Popovers

Ingredients:


1 recipe classic popover master

1 tablespoon lemon zest -- grated

1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper

2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. Follow recipe for Classic popovers, whisking in lemon zest, pepper and 1 tsp thyme into batter and sprinkling remaining thyme over popovers before baking. 2. Bake at 375F for 40 minutes, cut slit 1/2 inch long in tops and bake another 10 minutes.
