Danish Pan Puffs

Ingredients:


3/4 cup milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup vegetable oil

2 large egg

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/2 teaspoon ground mace

2 cups flour

1/4 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 Cup vegetable shortening
 

Preparation / Directions:


Combine milk, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup oil, eggs, baking powder, salt, mace, and 1 cup flour in a mixer bowl beat on low speed for 30 seconds beat on medium speed for 2 minutes beat in remaining flour, until well blended heat shortening to 375 degrees drop batter, by tablespoonsful, into hot oil as puffs float to the top, turn, and brown on all sides drain on a cooling rack and blot with paper towels dust with sugar and cinnamon serve warm or at room temperature
