Lazy Lasagna

Ingredients:


1 pound ground beef

32 ounces spaghetti sauce

16 ounces cottage cheese

8 ounces plain yogurt

5 ounces frozen chopped spinach, thawed

9 sheets uncooked lasagna noodles

16 ounces mozzarella cheese, grated or sliced

1/2 Cup grated parmesan cheese

1 Cup water

2 cloves garlic

1 medium onion

1 tablespoons Italian herbs
 

Preparation / Directions:


Preheat oven to 350 degree. Cook beef in large skillet over medium high heat until meat is brown, stirring to separate meat; drain fat. Add spaghetti sauce. Reduce heat to low. Heat through, stirring occasionally; set aside. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, and spinach in medium bowl; blend well. Spoon 1 1/2 cups of the meat sauce in bottom of 13x9 inch pan. Place 1/2 of the uncooked noodles over sauce, add 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture, mozzarella and parmesan, 1/2 of the remaining meat sauce and 1/4 cup of the parmesan cheese. Repeat layers starting with the noodles. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese. Pour water around the sides of the pan. Cover tightly with foil. Bake 1 hour. Uncover and bake 20 minutes more, Let stand 15 to 20 minutes.
