Spinach Lasagna

Ingredients:


1 package frozen chopped spinach -- (10 ounce) thawed

1 package cream cheese -- (8 ounce) softened

1 package ricotta cheese -- (15 ounce)

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 jar pasta sauce -- (26 ounce)

1 spray Cooking Spray

6 sheets precooked lasagna noodles

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese -- (4 ounces)
 

Preparation / Directions:


Heat oven to 350 F. Drain spinach; press between paper towels to remove excess moisture. Beat cream cheese at medium speed of electric mixture until smooth. Add spinach, ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and pepper; stir well. Spoon 1/2 cup of pasta sauce in bottom of an 11x7x1-1/2-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray. Top with three lasagna noodles. Spoon half of ricotta mixture over noodles; top with half of remaining pasta sauce. Arrange remaining three noodles over sauce. Spoon remaining ricotta mixture over noodles; top with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cover and bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional five minutes, or until cheese softens. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into serving pieces.
