Easy Spaghetti And Meatballs

Ingredients:


1 pound ground beef

2 tablespoons water

1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs

1 large egg -- beaten

28 ounces prego traditional pasta sauce

4 cups hot cooked spaghetti
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix ground beef, water, bread crumbs and egg. Shape into 12 (2") meatballs. Arrange in 2 quart shallow microwave-safe baking dish. Microwave on HIGH 5 minutes, or until meatballs are done (160 degrees F). Pour off fat. Pour spaghetti sauce over meatballs. Cover. Microwave 3 minutes or until sauce is hot. Serve with spaghetti. Variation: Substitute 12 frozen or refrigerated fully cooked meatballs (about 12 oz) for ground beef, water, bread crumbs and egg. In saucepan mix pasta sauce and meatballs. Over medium heat, heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat about 15 minutes or until meatballs are heated through, stirring occasionally. Serve over spaghetti. For a delicious Italian meal, serve with piping hot Pepperidge Farm Garlic Bread, Caesar Salad and V8 Splash.
