Pumpkin Waffles

Ingredients:


2 large Eggs

2 tablespoons Brown sugar

1 cup Half and Half

4 tablespoons Butter,melted and cooled

1 Cup All purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice

1/2 Cup Canned pumpkin puree

1/2 medium Granny Smith apple, pared, Cored and cut into small piecs

1/2 Cup Chopped,toasted walnuts
 

Preparation / Directions:


Whisk eggs and brown sugar together in mixing bowl. Ad 1/2and 1/2 and butter; whisk until blended. Mix flour, baking powder,salt and pie spice in another bowl. Add to egg mixture and stir just until blended. Stir in pumpkin; fold in apples and walnuts. Heat waffle iron as directed and make waffles. Use generous 3/4 cup of batter for large iron. Serve with butter and warm maple syrup.
