Shrimp Lafayette

A complete meal when served with french bread and a crisp salad
 

Ingredients:


1 stick butter

2 medium juice of 2 lemons

1/4 cup Woustershire (I prefer Lee and Perrins)

1 pound large shrimp, heads off but shells left on

1 teaspoon garlic powder (to taste)

1 teaspoon ground black pepper (to taste)

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper (to taste)

1 teaspoon salt
 

Preparation / Directions:


Place first three ingredients in pyrex cup and microwave to melt butter, then stir well Place shrimp in microwave-save dish, add garlic powder, black papper and red pepper. Do NOT add salt at this time. If salt is added be sure to do it after microwaveing the shrimp. Pour sauce over shrimp and microwave about two minutes depending on the power of your microwave. Stir and cook another couple of minutes or until they are pink. Pour the sauce into individual dipping bowls for the shrimp and the french bread, serve with green salad
