1 package bacon
 

Preparation / Directions:


Directions are for thin-sliced bacon. Thick-sliced bacon will require. TO BAKE: Heat oven to 400 degrees. Place separated slices of bacon on rack in broiler pan. Bake about 10 minutes, without turning, until brown. To Broil: Set oven control to broil. Broil separated slices of bacon about 3 inches from heat about 2 minutes or until brown; turn. Broil 1 minute longer.To Microwave: Place separated slices of bacon on microwavable rack in microwavable dish or on microwavabl paper towel-lined dish. Cover with paper towel and microwave on high 45 to 60 seconds per slice. For bacon most similar to conventionally fried, cook in its own fat without using rack or paper towel under bacon.To Panfry: Place separated slices of bacon in cold skillet. Cook over low heat 8 to 10 minutes, turning bacon to brown evenly on both sides.BACON CURLS Cut bacon slices in half. Roll up and secure with wooden picks. Set oven control to broil. Broil with tops 4 to 5 inches from heat 2 minutes; turn. Broil about 2 minutes longer or until crisp.
