Pork Chops For The Working Woman

Ingredients:


3 chops pork chops -- (3 to 4)

1 Can mushrooms

1 Can mushroom or celery soup

1 can water

2 Cup minute rice

1 medium dry onion -- minced

1 medium green pepper -- optional

1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste
 

Preparation / Directions:


Brown pork chops in electric skillet on both sides; drain grease off. Layer the pork chops, mushrooms, onion, topping with minute rice. Spread the soup over all and pour water to the side of the mixture. Place lid on skillet. Cook at 300~F. for 45 minutes to 1 hour. You can also substitute chicken instead of the pork chops.
