Ingredients:


1 pound ground pork

1/2 pound ground beef

2 slices Rye or white bread -- torn in pieces

1 teaspoon Pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon Pepper

1 large Egg

1/2 cup Milk

1 small Onion -- chopped

1 jar Sauerkraut apple filling OR Cranberry squash filling
 

Preparation / Directions:


*substitute: 1/3 c Dry bread crumbs or 1/2 c Quick-cooking oats Heat oven to 325 degrees. Prepare filling of your choice. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Shape mixture into rectangle, 16 X 10 inches, on waxed paper. Spread filling over pork mixture to within 1 inch of edges. Press filling into pork mixture with back of spoon. Roll up, beginning at narrow end, using waxed paper to help roll. Pat ends to seal. Cut roll crosswise in half. Pat cut ends to seal. Place rolls side by side and seam sides down about 3 inches apart on rack in broiler pan. Bake about 1-1/2 hours or until done. To Microwave: Prepare as directed--except place rolls side by side and seam sides down on microwavable rack in microwavable baking dish. Cover loosely and microwave on medium-high (70%) 24 to 28 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn after 10 minutes, until no longer pink in center. Let stand covered 5 minutes.
