Pears With Caciotta, Hazelnuts And Warm Chestnut Honey

Ingredients:


8 ounces chestnut honey or honey of your choice

4 medium perfectly ripe comice pears -- or the pear your choice

8 ounces caciotta di sienna or another semi-soft sheeps milk cheese from tuscany

20 whole hazelnuts -- peeled
 

Preparation / Directions:


In a small sauce pan over low heat, gently warm the chestnut honey. Peel, core and quarter pears, remove seeds and strands. Divide pears in the center of 4 individual plates and randomly shave shards of caciotta over the pears. Place 5 hazelnuts on each plate.
