Fresh Cherry Clafouti

Ingredients:


1 spray vegetable cooking spray

1/2 cup pitted sweet cherries

2/3 cup nonfat buttermilk

3 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons brandy

1 large egg -- lightly beaten

1 teaspoon powdered sugar
 

Preparation / Directions:


Coat 2 (5-ounce) ramekins or custard cups with cooking spray. Place 1/4 cup cherries into each ramekin; set aside. Combine buttermilk and next 4 ingredients, stirring with a wire whisk until well blended. Pour evenly over cherries. Place ramekins on a baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until puffed and set. Sprinkle the top of each with 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar.
