Hickory Grilled Fish Bake

2 pounds fish fillets
1 medium lemon -- thinly sliced
1/4 cup butter -- melted
1 clove garlic
1 teaspoon salt and pepper
1 package hickory chips

Preparation / Directions:

Sprinkle fillets generously with salt and pepper. Arrange 1/2 of the lemon slices in the bottom of a shallow baking pan, add fillets in a single layer. Place remaining lemon slices on top. Combine garlic and butter, pour over fish. Prepare grill. Add hickory flavor chips to SLOW coals. Place baking pan on grill. Close cover and cook 25 to 30 minutes, basting frequently. Serve with lemon slices and butter mixture.
