Cayenne Buttermilk Dressing

2 tablespoons sour cream
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced red onion
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon salt -- to taste
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper -- to taste

Preparation / Directions:

Combine the sour cream, buttermilk, garlic, onion, lime juice, and cayenne. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well. May be prepared 1 day ahead and refrigerated.
