Grilled Marinated Cobia

Ingredients:


1 fillet cobia -- 1 to 1-1/2 inch steaks

1 cup vinegar

1/2 teaspoon thyme

2 pieces bay leaves
 

Preparation / Directions:


Prepare marinade by blending 2 bay leaves, 1/2 tsp thyme and 1 Cup wine vinegar. Heat in saucepan to blend flavors; Cool before marinating. Submerge steaks and marinade for 30 minutes or longer in marinade. Drain before cooking. Grill approximately 12 minutes, turning once, approximately 3" from the charcoal. Suggestions: Substitute some of prepared salad dressings for marinade.
