Grilled Chicken-Jalapeno Burgers

3/4 pound ground chicken
1/2 cup fresh whole wheat bread crumbs
1 small carrot -- peeled and grated
1 medium green onion -- minced
2 teaspoons seeded -- minced jalapeno
1/2 teaspoon peppers
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 medium Kaiser rolls
1 recipe use salsa recipe in salsa

Preparation / Directions:

Preheat outdoor grill for cooking or preheat broiler. Prepare salsa; set aside. In large bowl, combine ground chicken, bread crumbs, carrot, green onion, minced jalapenos and salt. Shape mixture into four patties. Place patties on cooking surface over hot coals or on broiler pan. Grill or broil 5 to 6 minutes each side or until golden and cooked thru. Toast buns, split side down, during last 5 minutes of cooking time. Serve burgers on toasted buns with lettuce and salsa.
