Marshmallow Fudge

1 dash salt
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa
1/8 pound marshmallows
1 cup milk
3/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 tablespoons butter

Preparation / Directions:

Mix well the sugar, cocoa and milk, stir and put on medium flame to dissolve sugar. Stir occasionally (when it starts to boil, don't stir anymore during the cooking and cooling). Boil 10 to 12 minutes. When done, remove from fire set in pan of cold water, about 15 minutes. Drop in butter, salt, 1/2 marshmallows and vanilla. Don't stir in. When bottom of pan feels cool to hand remove and beat in all marshmallows until mixture stiff
