Festive Fudge

Ingredients:


2 cups sugar

2/3 cup evaporated milk

12 large marshmallows

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 teaspoon salt

6 ounces chocolate chips

1 cup chopped nuts

1 teaspoon vanilla
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix in a heavy 2 quart saucepan the sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over the top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more. Take off heat. Stir in until completely melted chocolate pieces. Stir in nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8 inch square pan. Let cool. Cut into 30 pieces.
