Preparation / Directions:1. Leave 1/4 cm stems on figs. Wash. Cover with boiling water. Boil gently 10 minutes.
2. Let stand 10 minutes. Drain. Cover with syrup made from sugar and water.
3. Cook gently for 30 minutes; then pack into hot jars. Process 1 hour in hot-water bath.
