3 large egg whites -- (room temperature)
1 pound powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Preparation / Directions:

Combine ingredients. Beat 7 minutes at high speed. Keep bowl covered with damp terry cloth while you work (gets hard when dry). Good for cake decorations such as birthday candle holders.
