Fluffy Seven Minute Frosting

2 large egg whites -- unbeaten
1 1/2 cups light corn syrup
1 dash salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation / Directions:

Combine egg whites, syrup and salt in top of double boiler, beating with rotary egg beater until thoroughly mixed. Place over rapidly boiling water and continue beating constantly for up to seven minutes until frosting stands up in peaks. Add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread. Enough for two 9 or 10 inch layers.
