Basic Buttercreme Frosting

Ingredients:


3 sticks margarine or butter

1 tablespoons vanilla

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
 

Preparation / Directions:


Mix and cream together margarine, shortening, powdered sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice. Add egg whites, and beat on high until smooth. Makes 4 1/2 pounds of frosting.
