Shrimps En Brochette

1 1/2 pounds jumbo shrimp -- shelled and deveined
6 slices bacon -- cut into squares
2 tablespoons melted butter -- for basting
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation / Directions:

Fill 6 metal skewers with alternating shrimp and bacon. Brush with melted butter. Broil for 4 to 6 minutes 2 to 3 inches from heat, turning the skewers once and basting occasionally with melted butter. Remove to heated serving dish and keep warm. In small saucepan, heat sour cream over low flame. Add lemon juice and juice from broiled shrimps. Cook over low flame for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Pour over shrimps. Serve hot.
