QUICK CRAB MARINARA SAUCE

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 can tomato sauce -- (8 oz.)
1 can tomato paste -- (6 oz.)
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried whole basil -- crushed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
6 1/2 ounces crabmeat -- drained and rinsed
 

Preparation / Directions:

Combine olive oil and onion in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch, microwave-safe baking dish. Cover and microwave at HIGH for 3 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring once. Stir in remaining ingredients except crabmeat. Cover and microwave at HIGH for 4 to 5 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir in crabmeat. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
