Preparation / Directions:
Puffs: Melt butter in 1/4 cup boiling water. Add the flour and a dashof salt; stir vigorously. Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add the egg, beating vigorously until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the caraway seeds. Drop dough in two portions, 3 inches apart, on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake 25 minutes more. Remove puffs from oven; cool slightly. Slice off top and remove moist membrane from each puff.
Filling: Melt butter over low heat. Blend in flour, 1/4 tsp salt and a dash of pepper. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add remaining ingredients and heat through. Spoon mixture into the caraway puffs and serve immediatel
