1 recipe egg mixture -- (as in basic french omelet), * see note
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons chopped onions

Preparation / Directions:

* Note: The recipe for "Basic French Omelet" is included in this database. In omelet skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter. Add onions and cook 5 minutes, or until onions are slightly browned. Add remaining butter. Heat until butter is slightly browned. Add egg mixture and make omelet as in "Basic French Omelet." Suggested Wine: A light red wine; chilled dry white wine; or a rose wine.
