Ingredients:


2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/3 cup shortening

1 large egg

1/2 cup milk
 

Preparation / Directions:


combine flour, baking powder, and salt-mix well cut in shortening to a coarse meal combine egg and milk-mix well gradually mix in enough of the egg mixture to make a stiff dough rollout to a thickness of 1/4-inch cut into the desired shapes drop into simmering broth cover and simmer for 10 minutes, until cooked through serve hot
