Preparation / Directions:Drain oysters saving 3 T. liquid. Combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in saved oyster liquid, onion and milk. Stir in egg, butter and cayenne pepper until blended. Dip oysters in batter. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Make a dip by combining rest of ingredients, stirring well until blended.
