South Of The Border Dip

Ingredients:

1/2 cup onion chopped
2 tablespoons margarine
1 pound velveeta mexican pasteurized process cheese spread with jalapeno pepper cubed
16 ounces tomatoes
 

Preparation / Directions:

Saute onions in margarine. Add remaining ingredients; stir until process cheese spread is melted. Serve hot with tortilla chips. Microwave: Microwave onions and margarine in 1 1/2 quart casserole or bowl on high 2 minutes or until onions are tender. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Microwave on medium (50%) 9 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring every 3 minutes
