Old El Paso Layered Bean Dip

Ingredients:


32 ounces refried beans

1 pound lean ground beef

1 package taco seasoning mix

3/4 cup water

1 1/2 cups lettuce -- , shredded

2 cups cheddar cheese -- shredded

1 jar Old El Paso chunky salsa

-----toppings-----

1 cup sour cream

1 cup guacamole

1 can black olives -- , sliced

1 package tortilla chips
 

Preparation / Directions:


Spread refried beans on bottom of 14" serving platter. Brown ground beef in skillet on medium heat; drain. Add taco seasoning mix and water. Cook and stir on medium heat 10-15 minutes. Spread over refried beans. Arrange layers of lettuce, salsa and cheese on top of meat. Garnish with desired toppings. Serve with tortilla chips. Makes 14-16 appetizer servings.
