Preparation / Directions:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour -- sifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup nuts -- chopped
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degress. Cream butter. Add brown and white sugar gradually and beat until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda and stir into batter. Add nuts and chocolate chip, stir to mix. Drop the batter from a teaspoon, well apart, on a greased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 min.
HEART COOKY: Double recipe. Bakes a little longer. Test after 15 or 20 min.
