Southern Fruit Compote

Ingredients:


32 ounces applesauce

20 ounces pineapple chunks in juice -- drained

20 ounces canned peaches -- or plums, drained

3 medium bananas -- sliced

3 tablespoons brown sugar

3 tablespoons nuts -- chopped
 

Preparation / Directions:


IOn casserole put 1/3 of applesauce, 1/2 of pineapple, 1/2 of peaches or plums, and 1/2 of bananas. Repeat. Put rest of applesauce on top. Sprinkle with sugar and nuts. Bake 1 hour at 350F.
