Banana Strawberry Cream

1 medium ripe frozen banana
1/2 cup sliced strawberries
1 tablespoon orange juice
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
2 medium macaroons -- crumbled

Preparation / Directions:

Puree the frozen banana with the berries, juice, and sugar in a blender. Fold in the cheese. Place the mixture in a pint container and freeze for several hours. Allow the mixture to stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop into dessert dishes, top with crumbled macaroons, and serve. 6 servings/Serving size: 1/3 cup
