Aloha Pineapple and Banana

Ingredients:


10 large pineapple rings in juice -- drained

10 slices banana

1 tablespoon lemon juice

3 tablespoons cinnamon-sugar

4 large egg whites

1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar

1/2 cup sugar

10 medium maraschino cherries
 

Preparation / Directions:


Arrange pineapple slices on greased baking sheet. Place a banana slice in the center of each. Sprinkle with lemon juice and 1/2 of the cinnamon-sugar. Make meringue with egg whites, cream of tartar and sugar, and spread over each pineapple slice. Sprinkle with r emaining cinnamon-sugar. Bake 10 min. at 400F till golden. Garnish with cherries. Serve warm or cold.
