Curry Cumin Popovers

Ingredients:


1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

1 teaspoon curry powder

1 recipe classic popover master
 

Preparation / Directions:


1. With a mortar and pestle or in an electric coffee or spice grinder coarse grind 1/4 tsp cumin seeds. 2. Follow recipe for classic popovers, whisking ground cumin seeds and curry powder into batter. 3. Divide batter among 9 1/4 cup muffin tins or 6 2/3 cup muffin tins. Sprinkle tops with whole cumin seeds. 4. Bake at 375F for 40 minutes, cut slit 1/2 inch long on top of each popover and bake another 10 minutes.
